Hello, I’m Virginia Alfaro Ridgeway, founder of Alfa Accounting Solutions and an accounting professional with nearly two decades of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, nonprofit compliance, and tax preparation.

I founded this firm to provide individuals, business owners, and small nonprofits with clear, honest, and dependable financial support, all delivered with integrity and a personal touch.

Since entering the accounting field in 2006, I have worked across multiple sectors, including nonprofits, retail, service businesses, and entrepreneurial ventures. My career includes 10 years at No Longer Bound, Inc., where I served as the organization’s Controller and oversaw financial management across complex, multi-division operations, including a regeneration program, thrift store enterprises, logistics, marketing, and automotive sales.

During my time there, I built internal controls, managed audits, produced board-ready financial reports, led annual budgeting, supervised accounting staff, and supported executive leadership with strategic financial insight. This experience shaped my belief that ethical accounting and clear communication are essential to the health of any organization.

Before that, I spent several years supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs through ALFA Accounting and Tax Service, Inc., gaining substantial experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, business advisory, and QuickBooks implementation.

A Professional Dedicated to Lifelong Learning

I completed my Master’s degree of Accountancy (MAcc Program) at the University of North Georgia in May 2025, and I am currently preparing for the CPA Exam and also committed to earning my IRS Enrolled Agent credential to further deepen my tax expertise and better serve my clients.
